iPhone 3.0


Apple has announced the preview of iPhone 3.0. With Palm Pre breathing down it's neck, it has finally decided to incorporate most of the long list of requests.

Here's a list of the items in iPhone 3.0 which is slated for June 2009 release.

- In-App Purchasing: Allows developers to sell additional content from within applications. Highlighted uses include magazine subscriptions, eBooks, additional levels and items for games.

Peer-to-Peer Connectivity: Find other devices running the app via Bonjour over Wi-Fi of Bluetooth. Good for gaming, but also other applications for sharing data.

Third-Party Accessory Apps: Allowing accessory manufacturers to create applications to interface with their hardware accessories.

Push Notification: Rather than using background processes that hamper battery life, utilize third-party server to push badge, text, and audio alerts from applications.

Turn by Turn: Apple will allow developers to use CoreLocation for turn-by-turn GPS directions.

Cut, Copy and Paste: Available across all apps. Shake to undo or redo.

Landscape keyboard: Available in all key applications, including Mail.

MMS: Picture messaging now available.

Voice Memos: Record notes, lectures, interviews, etc.

Spotlight Search: Available across all applications. Systemwide search available from main home screen by flicking to the left.

A2DP Bluetooth: Support for stereo bluetooth headsets.

Tethering: Using iPhone as the 3G modem for your laptop.

Xiaomi Mi-3 Review Part 1 - The Hardware

A Quick Look into the Beautiful iPhone 6

There have been many leaks of iPhone 6. It doesn't look attractive until the high quality detail leaks in the past 2 days. The assembled 4.7 inch space gray iPhone 6 looks beautiful indeed!

The LCD glass is curved at the edges towards the unibody body.

The protruded camera is enclosed with a chromed (or liquidmetal) ring. It blends nicely with the space gray body.
Look at the iPhone 6 LCD (right), it almost touches the edge of the body.
iPhone 6 4.7" is thinner than iPhone 5/5s
iPhone 6 is slightly taller than iPhone 5/5s
It's slightly larger than a iPhone 5/5s but it definitely feels more comfortable.
