My Sony PSP

Playing with Sony PSP is one of my favourite past-time leisure.

The design of the PSP typical of Sony; that is cool! Top black glossy plastic with matt black plastic bottom. The quality of build is excellent, top grade plastics. The buttons are nicely layout and the buttons are same as those on the standard PS2. My only complain is the material used for thumb controller. I seriously hope it is made of rubber for better grip. Nevertheless, it is still a great gadget.

The user interface of the system is simple even for a novice. You can easily play your game or video by inserting the UMD and it will autoplay. PSP allows playing of MP3 and MP4 as well as slide shows of your photos.

The newer firmware which can be update over the air, provides some cool features such as RSS Reader and the web broswer. This is one of the best web browser on portable devices. It is comparable to Nokia E60 web browser, if not better. The page navigation is excellent, pressing the square button and the thumb controller allows you to move the pages up/down/left/right. It is intuitive.

The game graphics is great. There are many nice games around and some that I love includes Fifa 2006, Fifa World Cup 2006, PacMan World3, Tiger Wood Golf, Sudoku, Fight Night and The Sim2.

Try it and you will know how good and addictive it is!

Getting Watch Maker and third party watch faces to work on an iOS connected Android Wear

Many people loves their Apple Watch, so do I. As Android Wear improves over the past year,  we started to take it seriously. I have got an Huawei Watch with cool round 400x400 pixel AMOLED display. It looks like a traditional watch with a glance at it. The cool thing about having an Android Wear is that you have access to tons of cool watch faces. Apple Watch is limited by the fact that it has limited selection build by Apple, no developer has been given access to build any watch face for it.

You must be wondering how do you connect your Android Wear to iPhone and get access to third party watch faces. The Android Wear iOS app provided by Google provides access to some limited selection of watch faces, you can't use any of those that are out there on the internet developed for Watch Maker or Facer.

Thanks to Kevin from XDA Forum, you are in luck now.

You can now install third party watch faces on your Android Wear and get connected to iPhone for notifications and Google Now. It may …

Why iPad

A lot have been said about the iPad, you would have already know what it have or have not. Just to re-cap, the iPad does not have USB port and webcam, it does not support java and flash. So why iPad when all these supposedly standards are not included?

First of all, iPad is not a computer. It's not intended to replace your PC or laptop. It serves as a in-between for your phone and PC. It's give you the convenience of instant start to your surfing habit, reading emails, ebooks, watching movies etc on your bedside, by the pool or on the plane, anywhere you can think of including your bathroom.

You do not have to worry about registry, 5 minutes to boot your PC, viruses and defragmentation. Your grandparents would have no problem with the device. My 71 years old father-in-law does not how to use a smartphone or a PC, however he is happily using the iPhone that I have given to him. Now with the iPad, he will have bigger screen and more full-fledged application. He will be able to us…
